Duties and Responsibilities.

1.               

Secretary

Overall in-charge of Department of  Public Enterprises

2.               

Secretary (BRPSE)

All the work relating to BRPSE

3.               

Joint Secretary

Scrutinizes the papers / files submitted by his subordinates and put up the papers / files to Secretary/MOS. He has been delegated the powers of Head of Department under DFPR

4.               

Adviser

Scrutinizes the papers / files submitted by finance, survey, MOU

5.               

Arbitrator

To arbitrate/settle the disputes between a Govt. Department and Public Sector Enterprises and Public Enterprises inter se. Law Secretary is the Appellate Authority.

6.               

Director  (RB)

Looking after CRR,  reservation policy, SCOPE, ICPE etc.

7.               

Director (MOU)

Work relating to MoU, Committee on Disputes and Permanent Machinery of Arbitration.  He  has also been designated as CVO and Grievance Officer in the Department.

8.               

Director (RLM)

Looks after Restructuring proposals of CPSEs, PE Survey Work, Purchase preference, CAG Reports and other Misc. items.

9.               

Director (Cost)

All the work relating to BRPSE

10.           

Director(Mgt. Policy)

Dealing all cases relating to Wage/VRS policy in the public sector enterprises, Pay Committee on CPSEs. To deal with issues relating public sector management  professionalisaton of Board of Directors of CPSEs appointments of Independent directors, evaluation of performance of Navratna and Miniratna CPSEs etc.

11.           

Director(Admn)

Looking after all Establishment, General Admn. Coordination, Budget, Cash & Accounts, Parliamentary matters and OL(Hindi)

12.           

Joint Director

(MOU)

Examines all the cases of MoUs signed between the administrative Ministries and PSEs,  with the help of Task Force.

13.           

Under Secretary (Admn)

All the cases relating to establishment matter, general administration, Parliament work co-ordination etc..  US (A) has also been designated as Head of Office.

14.               

Under Secretary (Wage)

Dealing all cases relating to Wage/VRS policy   in the public sector enterprises. In addition, he is also dealing with CRR matters. Pay Committee on CPSEs.

15.               

Director (costs)

Evaluation of the financial performance of CPSEs, joint venture, framing of policy on surplus fund of CPSEs etc.

Deputy Director (P)

Dealing with issues relating to VRS, outstanding statutory dues etc. CRR Scheme.

Deputy Director (MM)

 Issues relating to reservation policy, vigilance matter, SCOPE,ICPE etc.

Deputy Director (SSR)

All the work relating to BRPSE

Deputy Director (TPS)

Preparation of survey work, Purchase preference policy He has also been designated as  Drawing and Disbursement Officer.

Deputy Director (PK)

 Implementation of Counseling ,Retraining and Redeployment Scheme.

Assistant Director (US)

To deal with issues relating public sector management  professionalisaton of Board of Directors of CPSEs appointments of Independent directors, evaluation of performance of Navratna and Miniratna CPSEs etc.

Assistant Director (BPM)

Training and Co-ordination work

Assistant Director (SSN)

Dealing all cases relating to Wage/VRS policy   in the public sector enterprises

Assistant Director (KKB)

To deal with issues relating public sector management  professionalisaton of Board of Directors of CPSEs appointments of Independent directors, evaluation of performance of Navratna and Miniratna CPSEs etc

Assistant Director (MMK)

 Preparation of PE Survey, Evaluation of the financial performance of CPSEs, joint venture, framing  of policy on surplus fund of CPSEs etc.

17.           

Section Officer

 Dealing with establishment matters, general service, fund release for CRR work etc.

Section Officer

Work relating to pre and post arbitration cases and Committee on Disputes.

Section Officer

 Co-ordination and Parliament matters.

18.           

Private Secretary (6)

To support and assist the officers with whom they are attached.

19.           

Assistant Director (OL)

Translation work from English to Hindi and vice versa and vetting thereof, to acquaint  the officers and staff of the Department with the provisions of Official Language Act, government rules and orders       relating to official language, to organise Hindi Workshops, Hindi Pakhwara etc.

20.           

Senior Investigator

Collection, compilation and analysis of data, preparation of reports and briefs on the important aspects of the working of the public enterprises, e.g. project studies, management, policies, etc.,             analysis of proposal to PEs, wage salary revision, allowances, productivity linked incentive schemes, etc.

21.           

Senior / Junior Hindi Translator

Translation work from English to Hindi and vice versa, maintenance of data in respect of quarterly report, to help in organisation of Hindi Workshops / Hindi Pakhwara.

 

22.           

Assistant / UDC / LDC

Scrutinise the case and put up the files/papers to superiors, maintenance of data required to dispose of the cases. Diary / Despatch / typing work etc.

23.           

Personal Assistants / Stenographer

To support and assist the officers with whom they are attached.

24.           

General Duty Staff / Group D Officials

To assist the officers and staff of the Department in their respective fields to carry out the work smoothly.
