The term MOU , is the Indian expression for the generic terminology Performance Contract. This HomePage has the same objective as any other HomePage. It seeks to promote better understanding of both the concept and the policy of Performance Contract with a view to raise the level of debate in this area.

For the past few years we have been publishing MOU Newsletter with more or less the same objective as this HomePage. The circulation of the Newsletter has perforce remained confined within the country. Consequently the exchange of views too has been restricted within India. The concept of Performance Contracting, however, is in vogue not only India but in over 40 countries globally. Through this HomePage we intend to reach out to all of them and establish a forum for meaningful exchange of ideas. We are interested to share through this HomePage country experience on performance contracting. To set the ball we will soon be putting out a country study on India.

The HomePage will also be a forum for dissemination of information pertaining to MOU. All memoranda, circulars, office orders, guidelines etc., issued from time to time by us, can be located on this HomePage.
